About JaShirt
How a favor for a boss turned into a small business built on fair pricing.
"I wanted to give customers a more fair price."
JaShirt started because of a t-shirt order that never should have cost so much. My boss needed custom shirts and went to put in an order with their usual t-shirt guy — but he had a 100-shirt minimum, and the total came out to over $1,000 just to get started. My boss couldn't afford that, and the order almost didn't happen at all.
So I started printing the shirts myself. No massive minimums, no inflated setup costs — just custom apparel priced fairly for real people and small orders. That first order turned into more orders, which turned into JaShirt.
Today, every piece is still designed and printed by hand, one order at a time — because the whole point was to make custom apparel something anyone could actually afford.
